There was a time in my life when my mouth said yes… but my body was already bracing for impact.

I said Yes to opportunities that drained me. Yes to timelines that didn’t match my rhythm. Yes to things that looked aligned on the outside—but felt tight, heavy, or rushed on the inside.

And for a long time, I told myself that was maturity. That was responsibility. That was what it meant to build a “real” business.

But my nervous system told a different story. And that’s where practicing Satya quietly entered—not as a rule, but as a revelation.

Satya as Living Yogic Technology (Not a Moral Rule)

In the yogic tradition (and yes, in the Yoga Sutras), Satya is often translated as truthfulness. But Satya was never meant to be brutal honesty, spiritual perfection, or another standard to measure yourself against.

Satya is alignment with your  highest timeline and most authentic reality—the moment what you feel in your body, what you believe in your mind, and how you act in the world come back into coherence. That’s why Satya isn’t to me it's for sure not a moral code. It’s living yogic technology for your soul-led life and business.

Before we go any further, pause for just a breath. Feel the bottoms of your your feet.Release any tension in your shoulders. Unclench and Relax your jaw LOVE. Take another deep inhale through your nose, hold for just a few seconds and exhale completely. Now ask yourself:

The Hidden Beliefs That Shape Your YES

Here’s what I see again and again in new and seasoned yoga teachers and soul-led leaders: the “yes” isn’t coming from desire. It’s coming from belief.

• “If I don’t say yes, I’ll miss my chance.”
• “I should be further along by now.”
• “This is just what it takes to grow.”
• “Once I feel more confident, I’ll honor my boundaries.”
• “I don’t want to disappoint anyone.”

These aren’t truths. They’re protective strategies your nervous system learned a long time ago. Satya doesn’t  ask you to feel shame or judge yourself. Satya asks: Are these still true for who I am now?

Coaching Moment — The Shift You Need

Here’s the truth I’ll lovingly stand by as your yoga business coach:

Satya isn’t about fixing yourself. It’s about removing distortion. When you tell the truth—to yourself first— your nervous system softens. And when your nervous system softens, clarity follows.

Place one hand on your heart. One hand on your belly. Ask slowly:

Stay with the sensation—not the story. That sensation is information. And your body is listening.

From Truth to Coherence ( How to make your Business Feel Like Home)

A belief says, “This is just how it is.” practicing Satya asks, “Is this true for me now?”

Truth is always present-tense. When a belief no longer matches your current self, it loses its authority. That’s when your energy reorganizes—and your business starts to feel grounded, spacious, and like something you actually want to wake up to

Yogic Wisdom or your Yoga Business dream do not demand perfection. They invite you to be  honesty with yourself. They invite you to stand in your power and honor yourself through it all.

When your truth is honored, your soul-led business becomes an extension of your practice—not a contradiction to it. Not by pushing harder—but by  gently, bravely, and consistently being who you are called to BE.
