Becoming the Woman Your Business Has Been Waiting For Now
There was a time when I thought I was running out of things to say.
Not because I wasn’t learning or because I was stuck.
But because every time I opened Instagram, it felt like someone had already said it.
Better.
More beautifully.
With prettier graphics.
A bigger audience.
More confidence.
I’d close the app and think, “What’s the point?”
Maybe you’ve had that thought too.
Maybe not out loud.
But quietly enough that it keeps your finger from pressing Post.
Because underneath “I don’t know what to share” is usually a much more honest question.
For a long time, I thought the answer lived somewhere outside of me.
Another certification.
Another content strategy.
Another branding course.
Another coach.
Another book.
Another podcast.
I wasn’t looking for information.
I was looking for permission.
Permission to believe that who I already was could be enough.
Maybe You Haven’t Run Out of Things to Say
One morning, I wasn’t trying to create content.
I wasn’t brainstorming hooks.
I wasn’t thinking about algorithms.
I was just sitting outside with a cup of coffee, watching my dogs chase each other through the grass.
The sun had just started coming up.
It was quiet.
Nothing extraordinary was happening.
No launch.
No breakthrough.
No huge realization.
Just another ordinary morning.
And yet...
I remember thinking, why do these moments feel more meaningful than the content I spend hours trying to create?
That question stayed with me all day.
Because I realized something I had never considered before.
Maybe the problem wasn’t that I didn’t know what to post.
Maybe I had stopped paying attention to my own life.
If you keep staring at your phone thinking, “I don’t know what to post…”
Maybe content isn’t the real problem.
Maybe you’ve been trying to sound polished when your people are actually waiting for you to sound real.
Show Me What’s Keeping Me StuckWe Keep Looking Outside Ourselves
Somewhere along the way, I started believing marketing was something I had to manufacture.
As if connection came from clever captions.
As if trust came from polished branding.
As if impact came from saying something no one had ever heard before.
But that’s not how trust works.
Think about the people you’ve invited into your life.
The teachers you’ve stayed with.
The authors whose books are covered in highlighter.
The friend you call when everything feels uncertain.
Was it because they always had the perfect words?
Or was it because something about them felt true?
Authenticity isn’t magnetic because it’s trendy.
It’s magnetic because our nervous systems recognize congruence.
We can feel when someone’s words match the way they live.
We can feel when someone is trying to impress us.
And we can feel when someone is simply telling the truth.
Your Ordinary Life Is Not the Problem
One of the biggest lies social media has sold us is that our lives need to become more interesting before they’re worth sharing.
So we wait.
Until we’ve lost the weight.
Until we’ve made more money.
Until we have more followers.
Until we feel confident.
Until we’ve figured everything out.
But what if the ordinary moments are the message?
What if the lesson from today’s yoga practice matters?
What if the conversation you had with your daughter matters?
What if the walk you took without your phone matters?
What if the class where only two students showed up matters?
What if the morning you doubted yourself but taught anyway matters?
Not because those moments are extraordinary.
Because they’re honest.
Most Yoga Teachers Don’t Need More Information
After years of coaching women building soul-led yoga businesses, I’ve noticed something.
Almost no one comes to me because they don’t know enough.
They come because they’ve stopped trusting themselves.
They’ve collected certifications.
Saved thousands of Instagram posts.
Bought templates.
Downloaded checklists.
Taken notes.
Done the work.
Yet somehow...
They still believe the answer is outside of them.
It rarely is.
If you’ve been collecting ideas but still not taking action…
That’s not because you’re lazy.
It’s not because you’re broken.
It may be because you don’t know which next step is actually yours.
Find My Next Aligned StepGive yourself Permission
Your breakthrough won't happen because you learn something new.
It will happen because you finally believe something I've known all along.
Your biggest challenge isn't creating content.
Your biggest challenge is giving yourself permission.
Permission to believe your story matters before it looks impressive.
Permission to share what you’re learning before you’ve mastered it.
Permission to let your life become part of your business instead of hiding it from your business.
Permission to live your Yoga ,because your dream client isn’t looking for someone who has never struggled.
They are looking for someone willing to tell the truth about their struggle.
Your Life is living proof and it is Writing your Message
A few years ago, I would have looked at that quiet morning with my coffee and thought, “Nothing happened today.”
Today, I see it differently.
That morning reminded me that the businesses we love most are rarely built on perfect marketing.
They’re built on real people.
Real conversations.
Real growth.
Real courage.
Real life.
And maybe that’s why the content that connects isn’t usually the content we spend the most time creating.
It’s the post we almost didn’t write.
The story we almost kept to ourselves.
The lesson we thought was too simple.
Because while we’ve been searching for the perfect message...
Our lives have been writing it all along.
Start Here
So the next time you catch yourself asking,
“What should I post today?”
Try asking a different question.
Sit with it.
Don’t force an answer.
Just notice.
Notice what made you smile.
Notice what challenged you.
Notice what softened you.
Notice what made you more compassionate.
Notice what reminded you why you started teaching yoga in the first place.
Because those moments aren’t interruptions to your business.
They are part of your business.
Not because every moment belongs online.
But because every moment shapes the leader your dream clients are waiting to follow.
Your life has never been getting in the way of your business.
It’s been preparing you for it.
And maybe that’s the permission you’ve been looking for all along.
To stop searching outside yourself.
To stop waiting for the perfect post.
To stop believing someone else has the message you were born to share.
Because in the end...
Your life is your content.
Your authenticity is your marketing.
And your willingness to be seen may become someone else’s permission to believe that they can be seen too.
Ready to stop overthinking and finally know your next step?
You don’t need more noise. You need clarity around what’s actually keeping you stuck so you can start creating momentum in your yoga business.
