I’m Becoming More Careful With My Energy.
And It’s Changing My Business.

There are parts of my life I don't write about.

Not because they haven't shaped me.

They have.

Not because I don't have anything to say.

Oh, I have plenty.

I don't write about them because I am learning that not everything deserves my energy just because it once had access to me.

And lately, that lesson has been showing up everywhere.

In my relationships.
In my business.
In my coaching.
In what I read.
In what I watch.
In the conversations I participate in.

Even in the thoughts I allow to keep circling long after something has happened.

I am becoming much more intentional about what gets my attention.

And I don't want to spend my life force rehearsing things I don't want to create and experience. Creating more time for the people, places and things that bring me joy... Like here at one of our favorite wineries, Kerith House in Blue Ridge.

My attention is going to these things...Every Day, In Every Way

I choose love.
I choose hope.
I choose faith in all of it.

That doesn't mean I walk around pretending everything is beautiful, because, It isn't.

I feel anger, Disappointment,Grief,Frustration, and Fear

I have relationships that have hurt me and beleive me I feel it all so very deeply.

I have experienced things that have made me question people I thought I knew, people I thought were my forever friends + Soul Family and I have had to learn that sharing DNA with someone does not automatically make them safe to share your dreams with in this life.

"Birth and time does not automatically equal Soul Family."

That one has taken me a long time to understand.

Choosing love doesn't require me to pretend everything is Ok, and it doesn't require me to give unlimited access to my energy.

It doesn't require explaining myself or participating in gossip, manipulation,or pot stirring .

In fact, conversations designed to pull me back into versions of myself I have worked very hard to leave DO NOT INTEREST ME AT ALL.

For me love looks like staying in my authentic energy, having the hard conversations if I feel they will be received

And sometimes? Love looks like distance.

Distance without explaining is a Boundary I am so very recently practicing.

I used to think boundaries needed announcements,Declarations, and  Explanations.

Some perfectly worded conversation where everyone understood why I was doing what I was doing and respectfully agreed.

This season of Life has taught me very differently.

Creating distance is the boundary, and nothing else is needed.

It silently says:

No fighting and No convincing.

No trying to get someone else to understand your perspective before you're allowed to protect your peace.

Simply stop participating and then something unexpected happens.

There is space for your Own Grace

Space to notice your own life again.
Space to hear yourself.
Space to create.
Space to love the people standing right in front of you.

"Space to recognize just how much beauty was already there while you were busy looking at the thing begging for your attention."

There Will Always Be Something Asking You to Look Away

Someone else's opinion.
Someone else's crisis.
Someone else's business.
Someone else's success.
Someone else's outrage.

But we Beautiful Soul are not living someone else's life, We are living our own Intentionally.

WE DON"T NEED:

Another notification or negative headline.
Another reason to be afraid or compare ourselves to others.
Another reason to believe you're behind or to postpone the thing you said mattered to you.

Every single Moment is asking you the same question:

Will you give me your attention?

My answer to this question is very different in this moment

Because my attention isn't free and neither is yours when you are building + creating your Yoga business Dream.

Every time you give it to something, you are  taking it away from something else.

 This happens in business constantly, especially online>>> Everything is always changing

We watch what everyone else is creating.
We question our own ideas.
We take another course.
Save another post.
Rewrite the offer again.
Wait for certainty and slowly, without realizing it, we give away the energy we could have used to actually create "The THING"

And at the same time, I've been deeply immersed in coaching my private 1 to 1 clients

And one day recently I finished a session and noticed something.

I was buzzing.

Not tired or depleted.

Not thinking, I need to shut my brain off now.

I was so ready to Create, Write, Walk, Talk ...

I felt more like myself after coaching than I did before we started.

And I thought:

Your Perfect Soul Client Changes You, Too

That's the thing no one talks about in business

They bring up attracting the perfect client, Usually from the perspective of sales by saying:

• Find your niche so your marketing converts.
• These 3 things matter, fill in the blank
• Who is your avatar 

They never say...There are people I sit across from and immediately feel the connections.

I hear the thing underneath the thing they're saying.

I see the through line between experiences they thought were completely unrelated.

I can see their ideas beginning to become something before they can.

And these are the moments I LOVE the most

That moment when I say:

Wait. Say that again.

And suddenly she hears herself differently.

She starts seeing that the thing she thought was ordinary isn't ordinary at all.

Her experiences matter
Her voice matters
Her ideas connect

There is a body of work and a business inside her bursting to come through.

There is something she knows that she hasn't fully trusted herself enough to claim yet, and I get to sit there and watch her see it.

My God, I love this work, these moments, that feeling of knowing she can SEE IT TOO:)

This Is Why I Keep Talking About Self-Trust

Not everything being easy or working out as planned

Not never getting tired and definitely not waking up every morning at 5 a.m. with a green juice and a perfectly regulated nervous system.

I mean truly recognizing yourself inside your own life.

Being your most authentic yourself inside your business.

Surrounding yourself with people who don't require you to shrink, defend, prove or perform.

Doing work that uses the parts of you that naturally come alive when you do them.

Choosing conversations that create possibility.

Choosing what deserves your attention.

And being willing to walk away from what doesn't.

And believing it's OK to  Still Want More

I mean I always

I want my business to grow, want to help more women create their dream

I want to create more profit and help you do the same

I have enormous dreams, and I'm not interested in pretending ambition makes me less spiritual.

But I also don't want success that makes me abandon myself to get it.

I don't want more followers if I have to become someone else to keep their attention.

I don't want relationships simply because history says I'm supposed to keep them.

I don't want a full calendar filled with things that empty me and fill me with dread.

And I want to be surrounded by beautiful souls who are choosing these things:

Choosing love.
Choosing hope.
Choosing possibility.
Choosing responsibility for their own lives.

Maybe that's why my coaching has felt so electric lately.

I'm not trying to drag anyone toward a life she doesn't believe is possible.

I'm sitting across from women who are already reaching for it.

And helping them see their own magic clearly enough to take the next step.

What I’m Practicing Now

I'm practicing choosing more intentionally.

Soul relationships over obligatory ones.

Work that energizes me over work I could do simply because I know how.

And when something tries to pull my attention away from the life I want to live?

I'm learning I don't always have to fight it, fix it or explain it.

Sometimes I can simply stop participating in it, and come back to what matters.

My breath.
My people.
My work.
My life.

And the more, I do, the more I have to LOVE

You don't need seventeen more ideas.

You need to trust yourself enough to choose one, And begin.
