For a long time, what looked like “waiting for clarity” was actually waiting to feel safe enough to be seen.

For a long time, I told myself I just needed more clarity.

I said things like:

• “I’m still figuring it out.”
• “I want to feel more aligned first.”
• “I just need to learn a little more before I share this.”

And from the outside, it looked responsible.

It looked like growth. It looked like I cared about doing things the right way.

But if I’m being honest with you, that wasn’t the full truth.

Because underneath all of that, I wasn’t waiting for clarity.

I was waiting to feel safe being seen.

The part no one really wants to admit

There was a moment I had to face something uncomfortable.

I had invested in trainings. I had read the books. I had done the practices.

I knew enough to start.

And still, I wasn’t creating.

Not consistently. Not boldly. Not in the way my future self would have.

And the truth?

It wasn’t because I didn’t know what to do.

It was because creating would have required me to:

• be visible
• be judged
• be misunderstood
• and possibly not be received the way I hoped

So instead, I stayed in preparation.

What it actually was

What I didn’t realize at the time was that I was in a pattern I now call Codependent Healing™.

And this is where it gets honest.

Because this pattern doesn’t look like avoidance.

It looks like dedication. It looks like self-awareness. It looks like personal growth. It looks like doing the work.

But underneath it, it was keeping me from actually leading.

The real reason you’re not creating

It’s not because you don’t have ideas.

It’s not because you need another certification.

It’s not because the algorithm is against you.

It’s because creating requires a level of exposure your nervous system may not fully feel safe in yet.

So instead of creating, you:

• research
• refine
• rethink
• rework

You tell yourself, “I’ll start when I feel ready.”

But readiness rarely arrives through more thinking.

It’s built through action.

How this shows up for new yoga teachers and soul-led entrepreneurs

If you’re a yoga teacher or soul-led entrepreneur, this might look like:

• planning your first offer but never putting it out
• filming content and never posting it
• rewriting captions instead of sharing them
• taking another course instead of working with your first client
• saying “I’m still healing” instead of making a decision

And here’s the part that might sting a little:

At some point, healing becomes a place you hide.

The nervous system truth

Your brain is not trying to sabotage you.

It is trying to protect you.

Learning feels safe.
Creating feels vulnerable.

Learning keeps you in control.
Creating puts you in relationship with other people.

And relationship means unpredictability, feedback, and exposure.

So your system says, “Let’s stay here a little longer.”

But “a little longer” is exactly what keeps so many women stuck for years.

The shift that changes everything

The moment things started to change for me wasn’t when I learned more.

It was when I decided:

I trust myself enough to move.

Even if it’s messy.
Even if it’s imperfect.
Even if it’s not fully formed yet.

Because the version of me I was trying to become was never created through more preparation.

She was revealed through action.

A simple shift into embodiment

1. Notice the loop — catch yourself when you’re consuming instead of creating.
2. Interrupt it — before you open another training, ask: “What can I create with what I already know?”
3. Take one visible action — post the thing, share the idea, offer the session.
4. Regulate after, not before — let your body learn that visibility is safe through lived experience.

Your integration challenge

Today, instead of asking, “What do I need to learn next?”

Ask:

“What am I avoiding creating?”

Then create it.

Not perfectly.
Not strategically.
Not after another round of overthinking.

Just honestly.

The truth your next level self needs you to hear

You were never meant to stay in preparation mode.

You were meant to lead.
To share your voice.
To build something real.
To help the people who are already looking for you.

And the truth is:

You already have what you need.

The only thing left is choosing to use it.
