Too Many Yoga Business Ideas? How to Find Your Unique Method

Sep 21, 2026

Ever feel like you Have Too Many Ideas,Here's the great news...You Haven’t Found Your Thread Yet

I hear some version of this all the time.

“I have too many ideas.”

Usually followed by:

“I don’t know how they all fit together.”

“I could help so many different people.”

“I love yoga, but I also love…”

And then comes the list... You know the one where you talk about all of your trainings or modalities

Breath work, Reiki, Nervous system work, Meditation
or Writing, Retreats, Trauma-informed practices, Sound Healing, or Coaching
Then comes their passions>>>
Nature, Creativity, Grief, Motherhood, Mindset... Fill in yours here

And because she can’t immediately turn all of that into a neat little sentence for Instagram, she assumes she has a clarity problem.

I don’t think she does and I don't think YOU do.

In fact, after coaching enough women through this exact conversation, I’ve started seeing it completely differently.

You don’t have too many ideas.

"You haven’t found the thread connecting them yet."

And those are two very different problems.

Because one makes you believe you need to eliminate parts of yourself and

the other asks you to pay closer attention to how you feel + what you repeat in both your personal practice and what you teach.

I Watch This Happen in Coaching All the Time

One of my favorite parts of coaching is listening.

Really listening.

Not just to the answer someone gives me when I ask:

“Who do you want to help?”

I’m listening to the words she keeps using.

The stories she keeps coming back to.

The thing that makes her sit forward when she talks about it.

The problem she understands differently because she’s lived some version of it herself.

The thing she mentions almost casually because it comes so naturally to her that she doesn’t realize it’s important.

And then she’ll say something that makes everything else click.

That’s usually when I interrupt her.

Wait...
Say that again.

I LOVE that moment.

Because very often, the woman sitting across from me has spent months trying to figure out what she needs to add to her business.

And I’m hearing what she’s been repeating the entire time.

The thread was already there.

She just couldn’t see it because she was standing in the middle of it.

That’s What Happened With One of My Clients last month

She came to me with a lot of pieces and Her own healing journey.

She knew she loved:

Yoga, Reiki, Nervous system work, Self Love, and Trauma informed teaching

The most important piece for her was to build her business without sacrificing being a great Mom.

She has a deep desire to help women who have already started their healing but still felt stuck somewhere between surviving their past and actually enjoying their lives.

She didn’t need me to hand her another modality and She had enough tools.

We started listening for the movement underneath all of them and began asking:

Where was this woman when she entered her world?

Where did she want to help her go?

What kept happening between those two places?

And eventually, three words began holding the bigger story:

Heal  Create  Live

Simple and powerful...

They reflected the transformation she cared about.

Healing wasn’t supposed to become the rest of someone’s life.

It was supposed to create enough space for her to begin living again.

There was the thread.

And once you can see the thread, you can begin building around it.

Then It Happened Again

Another incredible woman came into one of my coaching conversations with yoga philosophy, somatic practices, journaling, breath work, gentle movement, nervous system education and a desire to help busy, overwhelmed women.

Again, there were plenty of pieces, so We definitely didn’t need more pieces.

We needed to understand how she naturally helped someone move through a problem.

As she talked, a sequence started appearing.

Notice
Regulate
Reframe
Respond

There it was again, her message

Not something manufactured because every business coach says you need a signature framework, but a pattern.

Her  emerging method.

Something already present in the way she thought, taught and helped.

We simply slowed down long enough to recognize it, write it down, and receive what she already knew

Stop assuming clarity lives somewhere outside of you, it is within you Beautiful Soul.

So many times there is a surprising amount of your business already leaving clues.

Your Business Has Been Leaving You Clues Too

Think about the words you naturally return to.

Not the words you think would look good on a website, not spiritual words, Your words.

The ones that show up when you’re teaching.

When you’re talking to a friend.

When you’re explaining why yoga changed you.

When someone asks what you care about.

When you’re writing without trying to “create content.”

There are words you return to.

There are problems that get your attention.

There are conversations you never get tired of having.

There are people whose stories immediately make you think:

Oh, I understand her.

There are things you’ve lived that changed the way you teach.

There are practices you use over and over because you’ve seen what they do.

There are transformations you care about more than others.

Those aren’t random.

They’re information.

And this is where I want you to stop asking:

“Which one of my passions do I have to get rid of?”

And start asking:

“What connects it all?”

That question changes everything.

Because “Pick a Niche” Has Made a Lot of Women Panic

Especially multi-passionate women who refuse to sit in some patriarchal box.

When Someone tells you to niche down, it suddenly feels like you’re being asked to cut off half your personality.

Choose yoga OR Reiki.

Yoga OR coaching.

Mindset OR nervous system work.

Teaching OR retreats.

Business OR spirituality.

No wonder you don’t choose.

You think choosing means losing.

I don’t teach it that way.

I want to know something much more useful:

Who is the person standing in front of all these tools?

And:

What does she need help moving through?

Because your modalities aren’t your business, They’re tools.

Your certifications aren’t your business, They’re tools.

Your Instagram isn’t your business, It’s a tool too.

Your business begins to take shape when you understand the transformation you’re helping someone create, and the point of the transformation your people are in when they need you.

That’s why I keep bringing my students back to:

One person
One problem
One transformation
One method
One front door

Not forever, just For now.

Long enough to actually practice it.

You Don’t Need More Ideas.
You Need to See Your Pattern.

If you keep circling the same ideas, discover the pattern you’re practicing right now—and what’s keeping you from choosing the one worth putting into motion.

DISCOVER THE PATTERN KEEPING ME STUCK →

Don’t use it as another label. Use it as a mirror.

The Thing That Comes Naturally to You Is Easy to Miss

This has become one of the biggest things I notice in coaching.

Women discount what comes naturally to them.

She’ll tell me something brilliant and immediately move on.

Meanwhile, I’m sitting there thinking:

Do you hear yourself?

Because she doesn’t think it’s special.

It’s just how she thinks.

Just how she teaches.

Just something she learned because of what she’s lived.

Just the question everyone seems to ask her.

Exactly.

That’s why she can’t see it.

We tend to assign more value to what was difficult to acquire than to what has become embodied.

The certification has a name.

The training has a curriculum.

The modality has terminology.

Your lived wisdom?

That can feel harder to quantify.

But your emerging method often lives in the intersection between what you’ve learned and what you’ve lived.

That’s where your voice starts becoming unmistakably yours.

So Don’t Name It Yet

This is where I want to save you from another trap.

You do not need to run to Canva and make a graphic called:

MY SIGNATURE 7-STEP METHOD™

Please don’t. 😉

Not yet.

First, notice.

Before something becomes a framework, let it become a pattern.

I call these your Words You Return To.

Listen to yourself when you teach.

What words keep appearing?

Think about your own transformation.

What happened first?

What came next?

What changed after that?

Think about the people you’re drawn to helping.

Where are they when they find you?

What do you help them see, feel, understand or do differently?

You’re looking for movement, feeling, Not branding.

Not cleverness or spiritual jargon.

Movement.

A method isn’t valuable because it has a cute acronym.

It’s valuable because it helps someone move.

This Is Where My Power of 3 Comes In

If you’ve been in my world for a while, you’ve heard me talk about:

Regulate  →  Take Action  →  Integrate

I didn’t choose those words because they looked good together.

They reflect what I repeatedly see people need.

First, we create enough safety to stay present with what is happening.

Then we move.

Then we stop long enough to learn from the movement.

Regulate.

Take Action.

Integrate.

And then we practice again.

That’s what I want you to understand about your own method.

You don’t sit down one afternoon and invent it.

You begin noticing what you already repeat.

Then you teach it.

Practice it.

Watch what happens.

Listen to your people.

Adjust.

Integrate.

Over time, the method becomes clearer because you’ve embodied it.

That’s very different from inventing three words because someone told you your business needed a framework.

Your First Version Is Allowed to Be Emerging

I love that word.

Emerging.

Because it leaves room for movement.

Your method doesn’t have to arrive fully formed.

Neither does your business.

You don’t need to know what you’re going to be known for five years from now.

You need to recognize what’s asking to be practiced now.

That’s where so many women get stuck.

They want the final version before they’ll trust the first one.

But the final version is built from the first one.

And the second.

And the awkward workshop nobody signed up for.

And the class where someone said something afterward that changed the way you understood your own work.

And the first paying client.

And the offer you adjusted.

And the sentence you said during a coaching call that suddenly made everything click.

This is how your body of work gets built.

By doing the work.

So Let’s Find Your Thread

Grab your journal.

Yes, an actual journal.

There’s something different about writing this instead of trying to solve it in your head.

And finish these sentences:

When I teach, I keep talking about...

When someone asks me for help, I naturally...

The kind of person I understand deeply is...

The problem I could talk about for hours is...

The transformation I’ve experienced that changed me is...

The practices I return to again and again are...

Now read your answers.

Don’t analyze them yet.

Circle the words that repeat.

Notice the ideas that feel connected.

Notice where your energy changes.

Notice the thing you almost didn’t write because it seemed too obvious.

Especially that one.

You are looking for your Words You Return To.

Because those words can begin showing you something much bigger.

Your transformation sequence.

Your message.

Your offer.

Your emerging method.

Your front door.

Not because one journal exercise magically creates your entire business.

Because you’re finally looking in the right place.

This is the work I’m becoming obsessed with.

Not helping women manufacture businesses that look good from the outside. Helping them recognize what’s already inside.

The story.

The experience.

The training.

The ideas.

The words.

The thing they can’t stop caring about.

And then helping them turn all of that into something another person can actually experience.

That’s the difference between having a pile of ideas and having a business.

Eventually, something has to become:

Shareable
Teachable
Buyable
Practiced
Real

And that’s why I’m creating more around this work right now.

Because I keep seeing the same woman.

She doesn’t need another hundred ideas.

She needs somewhere to put the ones she already has.

She needs enough structure to see the pattern.

Enough space to hear herself.

And enough courage to choose what she’s going to practice next.

More on that soon. 💗

For Now, Choose Your Next Move.

If you’re sitting there with yoga, certifications, stories, ideas and seventeen different directions you could go...

Don’t add another idea today. Recognize the pattern you’re practicing, see where you’re getting stuck and choose the next thing worth putting into motion.

SHOW ME WHAT TO PRACTICE NEXT →

You don’t have to throw away half of who you are
to build a clear yoga business.

You need to find the thread.

And once you see it? Start pulling.
