Yoga Teacher Confidence: Stop Waiting & Start Your Yoga Business

I Can Make Waiting Look Very Productive

Let me know if this sounds familiar...

Give me a book and a new training.

A new idea to research or a notebook + a really good pen.

I can learn, plan, journal, brainstorm and convince myself I am making serious progress.

And here is the kicker sometimes I actually am.

But I know something about myself now that I didn’t always want to admit:

I can also use all of those things to avoid making a decision.

I can research something I already know enough about.

Ask another person when I already know what I want or Look for another option because I don’t like how vulnerable my actual choice makes me feel.

All while telling myself I’m “waiting for clarity” when clarity isn’t actually the problem.

And damn, I can make it look + feel like I'm being super responsible,Thoughtful, intentional, heck even more spiritual.

But most of the time waiting is just fear disguised as a really impressive résumé.

And over the last few weeks, I’ve watched this show up in room after room.

Not because these women aren’t ready, because they definitely are READY.

That’s the part I want to talk about today...

I Watched It Happen in several of my training classes

I recently spent four trainings with a group of newer yoga teachers inside Uplifted.

We talked about building a yoga business from the ground up, not the sexy Instagram version, the actual beginning.

Starting with the questions you need to answer:

Who do you want to help?

What transformation can you help create?

What is the first way someone can experience your work?

What do you charge?

How do people find you?

How do you invite them in?

Who is your Dream student you want to help?

Your Signature Soul Offer, the front door of your business.

How to choose your Pricing.

What Marketing your yoga business really means?

And as we moved through the trainings, I noticed something.

The women didn’t need more ideas, they had plenty.

One wanted to combine yoga with something else she loved.

Another could see herself working with a very specific kind of woman.

Someone else had an idea for a class.

Someone wanted to coach.

Someone wasn’t teaching yet because she didn’t feel ready.

The ideas were there and So was the training, Uplifted is truly the most comprehensive and hands on in the world of YTT.

The desire to serve and help people overcome their greatest struggles was always present as well.

What was missing wasn’t information.

"It was making a decision, deciding to make a choice even when you don't feel ready."

And this is what matters most, because if you believe you have an information problem, you’ll keep looking instead of taking action.

But the real problem is that you haven’t chosen?

No amount of information will help you choose for you.

Still Circling the Same Decision?

Discover the pattern keeping you in “almost” so you can stop gathering more answers and start trusting the one already trying to get your attention.

DISCOVER WHAT’S KEEPING ME STUCK →

This Is Why I Kept Bringing Them Back to ONE

If you were in those trainings with me, you heard me say this over and over.

One person
One problem
One transformation
One method
One front door

The misconception is, that choosing one to start will make you squeeze yourself into some tiny marketing box.

It’s creates movement, and the biggest AH HA moment is realizing... you cannot practice seventeen business ideas at the same time.

And you cannot gather real information about an idea you refuse to share or put into the world.

You have to give something a chance to become real.

Choose one person, and Talk to her.

Choose one problem, and Help her with it.

Choose one transformation then, create an experience around it.

Give her a front door into your world, pay attention, and that is the part that truly matters.

It's also the thing so many women have the backwards.

You’re Waiting for Something That Comes AFTER You Begin

This is the loop I kept seeing, and the one I kept catching myself in when I first started.

“I’ll start teaching when I feel confident.”

“I’ll create the offer when I know exactly what people want.”

“I’ll charge when I feel experienced enough.”

“I’ll market myself when my message is clearer.”

“I’ll choose my niche when I’m completely sure.”

But where do you think that confidence comes from?

Where does the clearer message come from?

Where do you learn what people respond to?

Where do you discover what you love teaching?

Where do you find out whether the offer works?

"Confidence comes from practicing,  creating cellular memory, and sharing your lived experience."

Not thinking or worrying about, actually practicing it.

Practicing it  what I call "The Power of 3": Regulate → Take Action → Integrate.

"Don’t ignore the fear and Stop shaming yourself for having a nervous system."

Regulate first, then take the action.

This is the part people skip— integrate what the action teaches you.

Regulate
Take Action
Integrate

Then do it again and again and again that’s how self-trust  + Your business gets built. That my friend is how you create confidence through consistent action

Coaching Keeps Showing Me the Same Thing

I’ve been seeing this with my private cleints:

A beautiful soul comes into our conversation believing we need to figure something out:

So I listen, and then she’ll say something almost casually.

A person she loves helping or share a part of her story.

Something she does naturally and an idea she’s been carrying around.

A way she wants her life to feel and I can see her energy change.

That’s when you’ll hear me say:

Wait...Say that again!

Because there it is the through line, and I LOVE those moments.

I love watching her begin to see the magic in something she’s been dismissing because it comes naturally to her.

But here’s the important part:

I cannot hand her self-trust.

I can ask the questions.

I can see the pattern.

I can help her simplify.

I can help her turn what she knows into an offer, message + the front door who dream students walk through.

But eventually she has to feel it and SAY:

Yes! I’m choosing to start NOW

That’s the work.

I recognize this in my own life, and realized I Don’t Need Another Answer Either

There are times in my own life when I desperately want the next answer.

I'm craving certainty, and I feel like I need to know how the whole thing turns out.

I want circumstances to make my decision obvious, so I won't disappoint anyone.

I want proof that I’m making the right move before I make it.

But the truth is Life rarely gives any of us that, it only gives me CHOICE.

And sometimes the most powerful thing I can do is stop gathering more information and sit with myself long enough to feel what is actually there.

The part of me saying, This would be easier if I just stayed where I am.

And the quieter part saying:

But that’s not what I want anymore.

I don’t need to make either voice disappear.

I need to hear myself clearly enough to choose. There. I said it.

I love making real money, I want to help more women, and I get giddy about coaching conversations that give me the privilege of witnessing another beautiful soul see her own personal power.

I am a writer and want my words to touch all who are ready to receive the

And I want to walk down a beautiful country road in the middle of the day just to stare up at the trees.

I want space to create and I want freedom to be my most vibrant, audacious, and empowered leader for others to do the same.

I want to remember why I am here and be myself inside of the life I continue to build.

That is my definition of success.

And claiming it doesn’t make me selfish.

It makes me responsible for building

I believe Success is SACRED when we decide what matters , and what  actually belong in your life.

So Let’s Make This Personal

If you’ve come through one of my trainings, I don’t want this to become more trainings you enjoyed, took notes on and put in a folder.

I want you to practice something, choose ONE thing you will do today

That’s your Soul Assignment.

Sit with yourself for ten minutes.

Just you and then answer these:

What do I already know that I keep pretending I still need to figure out?

What does success actually look and feel like for me?

What am I willing to choose for the next 30 days?

And then

REGULATE:
Feel what comes up when you say the decision out loud.

TAKE ACTION:
Do one thing that makes the decision real.

Teach the class.

Choose the person.

Name the offer.

Set the price.

Collect the email.

Make the invitation.

INTEGRATE:
Ask yourself:

What did I learn?

What felt alive?

What needs adjusting?

What do I want to practice again?

That’s business.

Not waiting until you’re finally certain.

Not collecting enough credentials to become immune to rejection.

Not creating the perfect plan and Practice it.

And Here’s the Part I Promised You

Remember what I said earlier?

So many women are waiting for something they believe they need before they can begin, but here is the great news... THERE ARE NO prerequisites.

There is learning from our own actions and then continuing to build it.

You don’t become completely confident and then take action.

You take action and give yourself evidence that you can handle what happens next.

You build it every time you stop abandoning what you already know.

One thing you’re willing to practice.

Because you are not signing a lifetime contract with your first decision.

You are finally giving yourself something real to learn from.

And if you’ve been waiting for permission to choose?

Consider this your invitation.

Not to get it perfect.

To simply just begin.

Stop Circling. Choose What Happens Next.

Your Sacred CEO Archetype can help you recognize the pattern you’re practicing, understand where you’re getting stuck and choose the next move that actually gets you into motion.
